Description
Epoxy silane coupling agent KH-550
KH-550 is a versatile amino-functional coupling agent used over a broad range of applications to provide superior bonds between inorganic substrates and organic polymers. The silicon-containing portion of the molecule provides strong bonding to substrates. The primary amine function reacts with a wide array of thermoset, thermoplastic, and elastomeric materials.

Application:
- This applies to polyethylene and copolymer with all various complex-shape and all density. It have high used temperature, high anti-pressure pyrolysis, memory, wear resistance and impact resistance.
- With the function of both coupling agent and crosslinking agent, its suitable polymers include polyethlene, polypropylene, unsaturated polyester, etc. It can be used to improve the affinity of glass fibre, inorganic fillers and resin to react with vinyl, usually used in cable and pip of silane crosslinked polyethylene.
- It can be with acrylic paint copolymer, made to special paint of the external walls. It can be used as the promotion for silicone rubber, metal and textile.
- Epoxy resin coating: Improve adhesion to the substrate, especially glass and metal; Improve moisture and corrosion resistance.
- Polysulfide sealant for insulate glass: Adhesion promoter especially for glass and metal surface; usually used in two part sealant.
- Glass fiber: Used as a surface treatment agent for glass fiber.
- Mineral filler surface treatment: Good effect for filler in epoxy resin; Filler and resin will be easy to well-mix and incorporate better.
