My water filter for home blocks up too regularly, what can I do about it?

In some water conditions, there is so much particulate or turbidity in the water source that the nano ceramic water filter blocked much more quickly than in normal conditions. In these circumstances, wrap a towel around the prefilter, or place untreated water in a container and wait for sediment to settle out until water appears clean, then filter from water above the sediment.
