1. Introduction of Rotary Cooler
Rotary cooler is a key equipment of the material calcination line. It has such advantages as simple structure, high efficient operation, easy to maintenance. Rotary cooler is widely used in building materials, chemistry, metallurgy and other industries. It is usually equipped with rotary kiln.
2. Structure of Rotary Cooler
Rotary cooler mainly consists of cylinder, front roller ring, back roller ring, gear; support rollers, catch wheels, pinions, discharging part, scattering plate, reducer, motor, hot air channel, feed chute and so on. In addition, according to customer’s needs, it can be furnished with cooling tank, bucket elevator, belt conveyor, dosing feeder, cyclone dust collector, air fan and so on.
3. Working Principle of Rotary Cooler
Rotary cooler is a kind of cooling equipment for industrial use. It is used to quench clinker which is laid in levels on the grate plates with cold wind from air blower. Temperature of clinker will be rapidly cooled from 1200℃ to be less than 100℃. Plenty of waste gases after cooling could not only be used as secondary air in the kiln, but also as heat source for drying coal in the coal mill. The equipment works in natural state, with low speed revolving in a slope of 3.5%. Materials are fed from the top of cylinder, and scattering plate scatters the materials to make it discharged from the bottom side of cooler.
