One step HCV tests are designed for qualitative determination of antibodies to Hepatitis C Virus (anti-HCV) in human serum or plasma as an aid in the diagnosis of hepatitis C infection. The test is based on the principle of double antigen sandwich immunoassay where purified recombinant antigens are employed to identify anti-HCV with high sensitivity and specificity.
