 KSD301 Description

KSD301 Structure and application:
KI-31 serial products are the temperature controllers taking bimetallic strip as the temperature-sensing unit. In case of normal operation the electrical appliance, the bimetallic strip is in a free state; the contact point is in a state of close/open. When the temperature reaches the action temperature, the bimetallic strip performs quick action generates caused by internal stress due to heating; open/close the contact point; disconnect/connect the circuit; thus, the temperature is in control. When the electrical appliance is cooled to the recovery temperature, the contact point automatically opens/closes to recover normal operation state.
Widely used in electrical heating appliances like water dispenser, water heater, sandwich bread baker, dishwasher, dryer, sterilizing cupboard, micro-wave oven, electric heating coffee pot, electric cooker, refrigeratory, air-conditioner, laminator, heater of auto seat.

The principle of this button like thermal protector is that ,the bimetal which is key component of this device

sensed the temperature of the corresponding machine, when the temperature it sensed increased to the

rated action temperature, the bi-metal will snap action in very short mment. When bimetal snap action ,it will

push the active contact point to take action ,in this way, the circuit is on or off .

Junction method: Constant-closed: the contact point disconnects when temperature rises; and contact point connects when temperature falls;

12.Installation method: installed for KI031 series: general moving ring, mini round moving ring, flat moving ring general aluminum cover with mounting hole, extra length aluminum cover with mounting hole.

Precautions:
1.When adopting contact temperature sensing installation, the surface of the metal cover is required to be securely contacted with the installing surface of the controlled device. For ensuring the temperature sensing effect, it is required to coat thermal conductive grease or other similar thermal conductive medium on the surface of temperature sensor.
2.For reliable performance, collapse, loose or distorted top part of the cover is prohibited during installation.
3.Liquid inleakage into the controller, crackle in the casing and unauthorized change of external terminal position are prohibited. 
4.When the product is used in the circuit with maximum current of 5A, the cable with copper core at section 0. 5-1mm2 is required for connection; When the product is used in the circuit with maximum current of 10A, the cable with copper core at section 0.75-1.5 mm2 is required for connection; 
5.The product should be kept in a clean, dry and corrosive gas-free warehouse with good ventilation and at relative humidity below 90%, environment temperature below 40.

• Installation Introduction : When we apply this device to target elctric equipment, make sure the holder 
• cling closely to the equipment heating part. To make sure superior temperature sensitivity , thermally
• conductivesilicone or other similar heat conducting medium should be coated on the thermal conducting surface .

 

  

 

• When installing, the cap should not be crushed ,loose ,out of shape.

 

• Liquid should be avoid from permeate into the inside of thermal protector .

 

• When the product hereof is applied in circuit where current is not over 5A , the copper core section of the electric cable is 0.5 - 1mm2 ; when applied in circuit where current is not over 10A , the copper core of the elctric cable is 0.75-1.5mm2 .

 

• Product should be stored in stored in a warehouse where relative humidity  ≤90%  , ambient temperature <40℃ ,ventilate , clean , dry ,no corossive gas .
