Met Coke (Metallurgical Coke) is a solid fuel, hard, porous, high heat. Met coke is made from coal after high temperature carbonization, often used for iron making. Bituminous coal coke is in the absence of air , heated to 950-1050 ℃, after drying , pyrolysis , melting , bonding , curing , shrinkage final stage made of coke , the process is called high-temperature coking ( high temperature carbonization ) . Obtained by high-temperature coking coke for blast furnace smelting, casting and gasification. Coke produced by the recycling process, both the high calorific value fuel coke oven gas after purification, is also an important industrial raw material for organic synthesis.
