2. Characters: Sodium Oleate’s another name is Oleic Soap. It is a kind of white to yellowish powder or light brown-yellow coarse powder with special taste and odor, Melting Point: 232~235°C,can solve in water and its solution is of alkalescence.Sodium Oleate also can solve in ethonal, its solution is neutral, but sodium oleate can not solve in benzene.

*Used as a food cover film, such as fruits, vegetables surface capsule, with ethylene oxide, fatty alcohol and use of high boron.
*Also used for waterproof fabrics,anionic surfactants and water repellent fabric.
