alumina hydroxide is functional filler and extender used in the surface treatment applications and synthetic onyx.
Aluminium hydroxide for filler (synthetic onyx)
CHALCO is the world's largest producer of white hydrate and has the broadest and most flexible product range available.
CHALCO has two distinct precipitaiton process that give different controlled partilcle size distribution characteristics.
In addition various particle sizes are available, allowing optical characteristics, flow properties and gel properties to be controlled in order to meet user's specific requirements.
A white powder, soluble in strong acid and alkali, stable under atmospheric temperature and easily decomposed into aluminium oxide by being heated. Mainly used as a filler in toothpaste, artificial onyx, low voltage isolators, a retardant filler in low voltage isolators, a retardant filler in plastics, rubber and glass-reinforced fibre.
