Cement grinding plant 


is an individual independent cement finished products production units of the formation of finally finished stage of cement production line. This phase willl add the cement clinker with proper amount of mixed materials to be grinded for cement finished product.


 


The production of cement, generally can be divided into raw meal preparation, clinker calcining and finished cement three processes,etc. Silicate cement production technology is representative in the cement production, is a limestone and clay as the main raw material, through crushing, ingredients, which takes limestone and clay as the main raw materials, through crushing, burdening, grinding to fine particles to get the raw meal, then feeds into the cement kiln to calcination to get the cement clinker, mix some gypsum into the clinker (sometime with mixed materials and admixture) to grind into portland cement.

A. Brief introduction of cement grinding station  process flow:

  • After crushed by hammer crusher, the large materials become small ones and are sent to storage hopper by elevator, edge of then evenly sent to the upper distribution plate of the turnplate by vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.

  • When the grinding mill is at work, all the grinding rollers are rolling in the ring, and the materials are driven to the edge of the turnplate by the centrifugal force and fall down into the grinding chambers where the materials are repeatedly pressed, crushed and grinded by the rollers.

  • The high-pressure air blower constantly inhales air within the grinding mill and,  in turn, the air flow with crushed materials are brought to the classifier whose high-speed impeller will screen the airflow: the unqualified particle size will fall and return to the mill for being reground while the qualified particle size mixed with air will go into the cyclone powder collector.

  • Most of the qualified powders will fall an exit from the discharging valve at the bottom; a small proportion of the fine powders, with airflow, moves to the dust cleaner, and clings to the surface of the filter bags.

  • At the same time, the fine powders clinging to the surface fall down by the sudden vibration of the filter bags, which is caused by the instantly ejected high-pressure gas controlled by the pulse valve.

  • The materials from the above two lots are sent by the conveyor at the bottom to get finished powders packed.

  • In addition, filtered clean air will be emitted from the air outlet of muffler in the end.

D. Working principle of cement clinker grinding mill

When the cylinder of the grinding mill rotates driven by the transmission gear, under the inertial centrifugal force, the grinding media will


stick onto the lining board on the internal wall of the cylinder of the grinding mill and rotate together with the cylinder.

The grinding media are brought to a certain height, and then fall down under the gravity, and during this process, the grinding media will crush the materials inside the cylinder, and at the same time the grinding media repeatedly move up and down inside the rotating grinding mill and will have sliding and rolling movement, so that the grinding media, the lining board and the materials to be ground will grind with each other, so that the materials are crushed to a finer granularity.
