Herb extractor and concentrator

Application:

This herb extractor is suitable to extracting component from herbs (leaves, root, flower or seed) like licorice, stevia, senna and other botanical.

Extracting tank is applied to water extraction, soaking extraction, reflux extraction, extracting aroma oil, recovery of organic solvent and etc, working under atmospheric pressure and micro-pressure, is efficient  in performance and easy to operate. The machine is complete with CIP cleaning system inside, meeting GMP standard. 

It is especially suitable for hospital, scientific research, pharmaceutical factory,  etc.

Structure: 

This machine include\u00811 extraction tank, 2 deposition tank,3 single effect concentrator, 4 condensor, 5 transfer pump, 6 filter,7  control cabinet ,8 water-oil separator, 9 platform and so on. All system use SS support frame. 

Machine operation mode:   Manual operation / Automatic operation (with PLC control box).

Working Principle: 

It’s suitable for water based extraction and solvent based extraction.

1.First, you put the herb (leaves, root, flower or seed ) into extractor, 

2.Add solvent 5-10 times the volume of the materials ( the actual type and the amount of solvent is according to the process requirement). 

3.After soaking for a certain while, open the steam valve to heat up, normally by heating jacket the component from herb will dissolved  into water or solvent, 

4.After extraction, then pump the extracted solution into the concentrator, 

5./If for alcohol recovery, the extracted liquid should be filtrated and deposited then pump the supernatant  into concentrator.

6.The steam produced during concentration goes to the condenser and is cooled down into condensate, and will go to the extracting tank as new solvent. And the secondary steam produced in the extracting tank is also cooled down by the condenser and falls back into the extracting tank. All the secondary steam produced will be fully used.

7.The component in concentrator will became paste or concentrated solution which you need.
