Setting the Melt Temperature and Handling the Melt 
Please Note: This unit is pre-set to degrees centigrade (°C). 1. Remove the crucible and clean the inside with a hard paper towel to remove loose graphite or other debris 2. The furnace has two on/off switches: the GREEN switch turns on thetemperature thermostat allowing you to set the desired melting temperature.The RED switch turns on the heating element to start the melting process. 3. The thermostat has two digital read-outs: the bottom readout (SV) displays the setting you enter into the furnace. The top read-out (PV) displays the actual temperature inside the crucible during operation. 4. To set the desired melting temperature, turn on green on/off switch. Wait a few seconds; the bottom (SV) readout should show the default temperature setting of 1950°F. To change the temperature setting, simply press the left arrow key to move the cursor to the proper desired digit and press the up or down keys to adjust it up or down. Adjust each digit to the desired setting. 5. When you are ready, place the metal pieces or grain in the crucible and set the crucible in the furnace. Close the lid. Press the red button to start the melting process. 6. When the metal is molten and has reached casting temperature, turn off the red switch. Open the lid and pour the metal into your prepared flask. Gold bar melting Operating Process as follows Step 1 Put gold bar into the crucible. Step2 Heat up the furnace with 15 minutes Step3. Take out the Melting crucible from the furnace,then put it on tray. Step4.Pour slowly the gold liquid from the crucible. Step5.Wait the liquid cooling in the mould within several seconds.
