Mica Tape

Serial of Mica Tape for Fire-resistant Cables consist of phlogopite mica paper (or synthetic mica paper) impregnated with a special silicone resin and a fiber cloth (or Polyethylene film) as supporting agent. These tapes have great flexibility and high tensile strength, and their combined characteristics mean they can be used to create inorganic, fire-resistant insulation for electrical cables.

CHARACTERISTIC

1. Outstanding insulation properties during high temperature. YG-5461-P is made from phlogopite mica paper, retain insulation properties at 800℃; YG-5461-S is made from synthetic mica paper, retain insulation properties at 1000℃;


2. Incombustible, asbestos free and do not create toxic gasses;


3. Excellent tensile strength and shock resistance.
