2. Designed according to the form of the uterine cavity and mechanical principle, their two arms have given field angles and assume completely open V shape.

 

3. For copper grains on the end of two arms are inserted to high place of “pass”, which closes to two uterine horns, a zone with high density of copper ions is formed in this area and copper ions’ contraceptive function is fully exerted.

 

4. With a small copper surface area of 225mm² and a smooth surface, this IUD has little stimulation to the endometrium and slight side effects such as bleeding and pain.

 

5. Being without tail filament, the possibility of retrograde infection is extinguished and discomfort is eliminated.

 

6. As calculated in terms of solution and corrosion rates of both copper and the supports, this kind of IUD could remain in the uterus for 15 years.
