Most polystyrene products are currently not recycled due to the lack of incentive to invest in the compactors and logistical systems required. Due to the low density of polystyrene foam, it is not economical to collect. However, if the waste material goes through an initial compaction process, the material changes density from typically 30 kg/m3 to 300 kg/m3 and becomes a recyclable commodity of high value for producers of recycled plastic pellets.
Working Process
1,The waste material will be feed into the crusher on conveyer belt.
2,The foam material will be crushed by the blades and then fall down to the screw.
3,The material will be filtered by screen under blades, to ensure that only small piece material will get into the screw.
4.And then the material will be pushed by the screw to the output mouth,and there is a hydraulic cylinder to press the material on the outlet to make the material into blocks.
5,Then the customer can get the screw compacted blocks. And if the customer needs, we can also offer the cutter to cut the blocks.
