Product Description:

DX629 is a fast drying and translucent adhesive primer. It is applied to the modified PPplasticsubstrate which

must be without paint.

Product & Auxiliary:

Plastic Primer DX629

Surface of Application:

Can be applied to the unpainted substrate of PP, PP/EPDM, PP/EPM.

Surface Preparation:

Remove the grease with anti-static degreaser

Polish the substrate with plastic scrub and S type nylon fabric.

Clean with water and dry it.

Use anti-static degreaser again to remove the rest of grease

To leave 20-30min for drying after degreasing and use DX629 plastic primer on the unpainted substrate till it is totally dry.

Spraying Gun, Nozzle, Spraying Pressure:

Spraying Method:

Spray only one layer. Flash drying 5-10min and spray the finish coat.

Dosage:

Theoretical dosage:Approx. 6m²/L(Thinner)

Note: Practical dosage is determined by different factors, such as shape of work piece, surface roughness,

spraying methods, spraying condition and so on.

Drying And Curing Time:

5-10min at 20℃

Within 16hrs ,it is allowed to spray another layer without sanding the last layer.

After 16hrs, if it is necessary to spray one more layer of DX629, please sand the last layer with

S type nylon fabric before.

Recoatability :

After flash drying (5-10min at 20℃) of DX629, the substrate can be recoated by the following paints

without sanding.
