To suit the high pressure and temperature conditions, the LV963/663Y PRV uses forged material for body construction, compare with casting body, forged full body has better mechanical property and strength endurance, able to handle thermal fatigue critical for reliable service, ensure the safe, trouble-free performance during the continuous operation.
Pressure Seal Construction
Pressure seal construction is adopted for body-bonnet joints, seals performance improves as the internal pressure in the valve increases, maintains tightness regardless of thermal transients.

Pilot Plug Design
Pilot plug design, means in the closed position, the main plug within the valve is unbalanced with full steam pressure acting on top. Combined with the actuator thrust this creates an extremely high seat contact and ensures a very tight shut off.
