2.      The ceramic raw material are imported from Japan & are processed into ceramic tube in Taiwan under special sintering technology. The low hot conduction of the ceramic rod helps it to absorb rapidly the hot and avoid to damage the blades of the knives when sharpening. 

3.      The fine surface of the ceramic rod prevents from the cutting edge be damaged when sharpening. And the sharpening will be much efficient. 

4.    The hardness of the ceramic rod is at 8 Mohs for the black color under SGS hardness testing. The hardness is higher than some of  the ceramic knives,so its suitable for sharpening the good quality steel knives.          

5.      The ceramic rod is lighter than the sharpening steel and it will not be tired after long time using.  

6.      The ceramic rod is non-toxic and odorless, it will not leave any chips or toxins on the blades of the knives.
