1. Description
Protein skimmer is a valuable mode of filtration when used with closed recirculating systems. Both saltwater and freshwater systems can benefit from protein skimming especially in those carrying intensive fish loads.
Protein skimmer is a mechanical device for improving water quality by removing fine organic matter and dissolved organics by means of air floatation, which is relatively simple process which is relies on the physical and chemical properties of coagulation. Foam fractionator also provide an easy way to introduce ozone at low dosage rates into culture water, to increase Redox levels and the removal of water colouration (browning of water).
2.Foam fractionators charactors
1).DHTED offer large commercial foam fractionators from 600 -1550mm diameter. And are constructed from PP or FRP with flow rates up to 200M3/hr.
2).The Units are supplied complete with venturi's and a pump to provide the air source. All adjustment valves are also inluded.The top clear foam collection section is provided with a high-pressure wash down nozzle, to keep it clean. The foam collection / vent outlet is designed to allow collection of foam internally and venting separating ozone to the outside or via an ozone destruct unit.3). Increase the dissolved oxygen of cultured water.
4). Venturi, water level control valve, automatic time control, Plexiglass collection cup.
5). Economical and environment friendly.
