Q: which specs are needed to be known very well?

The data for total lumens of fixture. Some time, the lumens you get is not for the whole fixture, but the lumens of

chips. These two are different conception.

 

Lumnens of whole fixtures are actually needed by end-customers.

 

Knowing well what the type of original and traditional lights and power so that you can calculate the lumens you

need and decide the power of led products basing on the total lumens of fixture.

 

With improvement of led chips tech,the lumens efficiency had been increased a lots, so that its not correct that

higher power led lights are better than lower power led lights. The Key factor is the lumens of whole fixture.

Sometime, lumens of 10w led bulbs from some vendors are not good as that of our 7w bulb.

 

Q: What is CRI and the relationship between the CRI and Lumens?

CRI is some kind of eyes’ feeling when our eyes see the real color from objects in sunshine. Higher CRI,

higher comfort for eyes. While higher CRI, lower lumens efficiency compared to relatively lower CRI. For

LED lights, the CRI is mostly from 70 to 75Ra,which is enough for normal usages.

CRI with 80Ra or morewill be much higher in cost. In some special and professional place, CRI80

is necessary, such as in museumor High-end clothing store or Hospitals.

 

Q: Can LED lights really last 50,000 hours in lifespan?

In theory, after 50,000hrs, the lumens maintain should be 70%, in fact, the lifespan can be 100,000hrs

(good quality). But we should note the lifespan of the driver or the components which is shorter than

50,000hrs. Normally the lights can last less than 30,000hrs. so drivers are also much more important
