Polymer Processing Aid (PPA) Masterbatch
Polymer processing aid masterbatches is generally used in extrusion process. PPA forms a thin layer of film on the inner surface of the barrel of extruders. This helps in reducing the friction inside the barrel which in turn reduces the die-build up. Other advantages of using PPA are removal of Fish Eye/ Shark Skin on the films, Improved productivity, Easy to change from one polymer/additive/color to other.
