Product Description: 

Doxu 2K Basecoat is developed for the primer and middle coating system. It has a good workability and can 

provide excellent physical-chemical performance to the film, which would be the best choice for the repairing 

of upscale vehicle.

Product & Auxiliary:   

Doxu 2K Finish coat: according to the formula for different colour (by weight)

General Curing Agent (DK828 Fast dry, DK828 standard, DK828 slow dry)

2K Thinner (DX601 Fast dry, DX601Standard, DX601 Slow dry)

2K Ready Mixed Clear Coat:

DK100 2K Paint Resin, DK550 Matting Agent (Mix according to the formula of 2K finish coat)

Surface of Application:

Cleaned substrate covered with original or old paint Sanded substrate covered with base coat  surface treatment of workpiece

Surface Preparation:

1:Dry polish the substrate with 600-800 grit sanding paper, then wet polish it with 800-

  1000 grit sanding paper

2:The substrate should ensure to be thoroughly dry

3:To clean the substrate with cleanser 

4:To move the dust by air pressure gun and KARW-I

Mixing Ratio(Volume):

100 Portion Doxu 2K basecoat

50 portions curing agent

10-20 portions 2K Thinner

Using proportion scale, mix the above material evenly in a certain container before using.

Spraying Method:

2-3 layers of wet spray, each layer should leave 3-5min for vitalization and 10-15mins for tack-free. It can be either cured in the oven or natural dry overnight.

Dosage:

Theoretical dosage: 5-8m²/L 

Note: Practical dosage is determined by different factors, such as shape of work piece, surface roughness, 

spraying methods, spraying condition and so on.

To ensure the veracity and repeatability of the formula, the paint should be fully stirred before using

Storage Period:

2K basecoat: Can be stored for 2 years in its sealed original drums in proper storage conditions.

Curing agent DK828: Can be stored for 1 year in its sealed original drums in proper storage conditions.

Thinner DX601: Can be stored for 2 years in its sealed original drums in proper storage conditions.
