Slag ball mill can be applicable to all kinds of ores and other materials, and is widely used in dressing, building materials, chemical and other industries. Grinding ways can be divided into dry and wet these two types. According to different ore discharge ways, it can be divided into grid type and the overflow type.

Steel slag ball mill working principle:

Materials enter evenly into the first storehouse from feeder though the empty tube in a spiraling way. There are stepped lining plate and corrugated plate in this house which is equipped with different kinds of steel balls. The steel balls are lifted at a certain height with centrifugal force producing by running tube and fall down. The moving steel balls hit and grind materials during such process. The materials are coarse crushed in the first storehouse, then they enter into the second storehouse though single-wall partition. There are steel balls and a plane liner in the second storehouse which will further grind the materials. The powder material is discharged from exit plate. Then the whole grinding line finishes.

This slag ball mill is composed by feeding department, the material department, rotary department, transmission department (reducer, small gear motor, electric control) and other major parts. Hollow shaft adopts steel castings, and the lining is shiftable. The rotary big gear has the good abrasion resistance, with cast roll teeth processing, the cylinder body set with wear-resisting lining board. This machine is smooth operation and reliable work.
