Description
ST/STC AC Synchronous Alternator Generator
ST/STC series are mainly designed to serve as power generating unit of small capacity which supply electricity for lighting purpose in ships as well as for household electric devices used in towns or villages. The construction of this generator is of drip-proof, salient pole rotating field self-excitation and constant voltage type. The alternator inside is made of high quality electric magnet and electric materials. Stator insulation is of Class E (or B), rotor insulation is of Class B. The alternators are of harmonic wave self-excitation constant voltage system and automatic voltage control excitation constant voltage system, both of which have excellent dynamic characteristic performance, convenient and reliable operation. The voltage of the alternator is 400V,240V or 120V if necessary, the frequency is 50Hz or 60Hz. Its operation mode is of continuous duty. The alternator can be coupled with a prime mover directly or through a V belt, with 5% change of speed of the prime mover under load variation from 0 to 100% and from 100% to 0, at a voltage of 380V or 230V or 115V, 50Hz or 60Hz to get a satisfactory constant-voltage
performance.

ST/STC Brush Alternator Main Features
1. Excellent compatibility with drive systems: standard mounting dimensions can be coupled to any diesel engines from worldwide, many S.A.E. flanges and S.A.E. drive discs can be easily interchangeable.
2. IP23 Protection, H insulation, Suitable for harsh environments.
3. All AVR's have numerous features for voltage adjustment, stability adjustment, low frequency protection and exterior
voltage adjustment. Standard AVR: EA460 Option AVR: EA440, EA230, EA08 or EA448
4. Standard 2/3 winding pitch, easy to be operated with other generators in parallel; Several types of winding are available to optimize performance. (Max. voltages available range up to 690V).
5. CSC generators are provided with three phase as standard, easy to alter the voltage by reconnecting for 12-leads on terminal plate, also the units can be run as single phase(except for CSC354).
