Antibacterial active: PCMX is high efficient against most species of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacterial.
Stability: PCMX is stable under normal storage conditions without inactivation.
Solubility: 0.03% weight/volume in water at 20°C;50% weight/volume in ethanol at 20°C
Toxicity:Acute Oral dose LD50 is more than 3g/kg body weight, Acute inject dose LD50 more than 2k/kg .

As a disinfectant agent, PCMX is used in antidandruff shampoo, antibacterial bar soap, also it can be used as an antiseptic or antifungal agent in glues, paints fibers, paper processing, cutting oils, leather processing, photographic products, polishes, and so on.
