Brass wire is softer than high carbon steel and stainless steel, making it suitable for deburring and polishing harder metals, without scratching surfaces. Plus brass wire will not generate sparks when used against other metal surfaces, suitable for hazardous environments. Brass is also a conductor of electrical energy and is suitble for static reduction applications.

Single Spiral for hand use:
1,Use a brush with a slightly larger diameter than the tube to be cleaned.
2,Push the brush completely through the tube that is being cleaned to allow the bristles to straighten out before pulling the brush back.
Double Spiral for power use:
1,Use a brush with a slightly smaller or equal diameter than the tube to be cleaned.
2,Use the brush only in the rotational direction in which the brush is twisted.
Stem Wires:
Stem wires are usually plated galvanlized steel, stainless steel can also be supplied, as well as brass or copper. Plastic coated wire is also available on special order.
