Semi Automatic Ultrasonic Copper Tube Sealing Soldering Machine
Ultrasonic sealing systems hermetically seal copper and aluminum tubes. A one-step operation crimps, seals and cuts off charged tubes in under one second. Systems are suited to automation for high levels of efficiency and productivity.
The 20kHz portable ultrasonic metal tube sealer specifically designed for explosive environments and can seal copper tubes up to 12mm in diameter. Its precise controls ensure consistent seals and are not operator-dependent, unlike alternative brazing processes.
Applications include sealing charged tubes used in refrigerators, air conditioners and bulb temperature sensors, as well as capillary tubes.

Tube Sealing Process Overview
l The operator places the tube sealer over the charged fill tube and actuates the start switch.
l A pneumatic cylinder advances a cam to clamp the tube closed and ultrasonic vibrations at the 20 kHz frequency vibrate the inner tube wall surfaces to form a true metallurgical weld.
l The tube is then cut off from the fill head completing the cycle in under 2 seconds.
