Solubility


Soluble in methanol, ethanol, acetone, aether, chloroform, acetyl acetate and sodium bicarbonate. Low soluble in water ( about 3~5g/L at 20°C).


Description


The active ingredients above, normally called S-Abscisic Acid , occur naturally in green plants and in some microbes. 
 

 In green plants, S-ABA, the natural substance help to regulate growth of the plants. It is the growth balancer and anti – stress inducer of the plants. It can promote plants growth balance on absorbing water, fertilizer and harmonize body metabolizm, and also activate anti – stress immunity system within plants



Application


ABA is an effective inhibitor in seed germination, can be used in seed storage

ABA can promote the accumulation of protein and sugar in fruits;

ABA can promote fruit set, improve crops and fruits yield;

ABA can enhance plant drought resistance and salt tolerance;
