| The main light is fully open, the supplement light is half open, the contour light is fully open. This lighting method is widely used for interview. It can make the characters clear, and create a strong three-dimensional feeling. |
Dim the main light to 50% lightness, and the two contours light to the lightest. Many of the commercials are shot with this lighting method. The backlight may be added according to the background size. In this way, the outline of the character is obvious, which is suitable for the chroma key.

The main light is 100% lightness, the contour light is 50% light or less, and the backlight is 100% lightness. So that the characters are rich in layering, the white backdrop won't look grayness, while the colored backdrop will look purer.
