dissolve in water, can dissolve in alcohols and ethers.

Application
1. As a plant growth regulator with auxin activity, β-Naphthoxyacetic acid can be absorbed via root and leaf. It is used as a fruit setting spray on tomatoes, strawberries, capsicums, aubergines, and pineapples;
2. It can promote fruit set, stimulate fruit enlargement and prevent hollow fruits.
3. It can also stimulate root formation when co-used with rooting agent.
