Silicon carbide heater is a non-metallic high temperature electric heating elements, 

using high quality silicon carbide as raw material, with special processes. 

Its main feature is high temperature, chemical stability and long 

service life, and small deformation at high temperatures, easy installation 

and maintenance.

Notices

1. Before installation of SiC heater, we should check the resistance marked on the 

cold ends. resistance difference of each group is ± 0.1

2. When SiC heaters are through the holes on furnace wall on either side (or up and down), 

we should rotate them 360 degrees. Do not mandatory installation with the beat. 

3. Silicon Carbide heating elements must be equipped with regulating transformers 

or thyristor voltage regulator and voltage, ampere meter, and automatic temperature 

control instrument. Due to oxidation, resistance increases gradually, in order to maintain 

normal temperature we should increase voltages. When voltages reach the maximum 

of transformer,we can change the connection mode of SiC heaters and then continue to use.
