PQ8.C Portable Foam Applicators is designed and manufactured according to IMO “international system regulation for fire safety”. It is designed to contain 6% Fluor protein foam fire extinguishers. The product has been certificated and checked by CCS.
A portable foam applicator unit shall consist of a foam nozzle of an inductor type capable of being connected to the fire main by a fire main by a fire hose , together with a portable container of the least 20L of foam-making liquid and one spare charge , the nozzle shall be capable of producing effective foam suitable for extingusishing an oil fire at the rate of the least 1.5m 3/min ,a water fog applicator maight consist of a metal L -shaped pipe, the long limb being about 2M in length capable of being fitted to fire hose and the short limb being about 250mm in length fitted with a fixed water fog water fog nozzle or capable of being fitted with a water spray nozzle.
