Everflon Fluoropolymer PVDF Resin
Everflon® PVDF is a fluorinated semi-crystalline thermoplastic which is obtained by polymerizing vinylidene fluoride. Without any additives, it has the intrinsic stability inherent to fluoropolymers even when exposed to harsh environments, providing the user with a unique combination of properties resulting in longer equipment life.

In addition to the PVDF homopolymers, which are recognized worldwide for their excellent performance in a variety of applications, Everflon Fluoropolymers is developing a wide range of VF2-HFP copolymers, and VF2-CTFE copolymers to respond to specific needs of the market.

Wire insulation, fittings, tubing, filtration housings, wafer carriers, pump housings, valve bodies, heat exchangers and other end use components requiring a high performance fluoroplastic material.


Processing


Everflon® PVDF grades can be processed using techniques applicable to standard thermoplastics:
* Extrusion
* Injection, compression and transfer molding
* Machining

Items produced from all non-reinforced grades of Everflon® PVDF can be easily assembled using standard welding methods, such as:
* Hot air welding with welding rod
* Butt welding
* Heat-sealing
* Ultrasonic
* IR welding


Packing & Delivery


Storage&Handing
The properties of Everflon PVDF resins are not affected by storage time. Ambient storage conditions should be designed to avoid irborne contamination and water condensation on the resin when opening and emptying the packaging.
Package&Caution
EverflonTM PVDF is packaged in 20kg, single layer, plastic bags. For convenient shipment, orders of 1,000-kg pallets are recommended.

Everflon's PVDF
Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) is a highly non-reactive thermoplastic fluoropolymer produced by the polymerization of vinylidene difluoride. It is available as piping products, sheet, tubing, films, plate and an insulator for the premium wire.

As a fine powder grade, it is an ingredient in high-end paints for metals. PVDF coating has extremely good gloss and color retention. PVDF coating has high efficiency and finds its application in construction industrial areas which are exposed to the external weather like the metal framework in building facades that need to retain their color and gloss over a large period of time.

PVDF Coatings are widely used in curtain wall framing and in skylights on many prominent buildings around the world, such as the Petronas Towers in Malaysia and Taipei 101 in Taiwan, as well as on commercial and residential metal roofing.
