1. What is IAAF “Kids’ Athletics”?
“Kids’Athletics” is one of IAAF education project initiated by IAAF in 2005. It was worked out as a whole set of sports and games with the content of children basic athletics such as running, jumping, throwing and walking according to children's physical, psychological development characteristics. The feature of this program is putting fun into the athletics sports, using a new competitive method to explore kids’ athletics skills, enjoying the funny athletics games together with improving physical abilities, developing group cohesion and creating the competitive determination and confidence. “Kids’Athletics” is the core content for the first-grade coaches training. Now the project is one of the most systemic, scientific and authoritative school sports which is worldwide spread and applied tens of countries, more than ten thousand schools.
