Products Information

Everflon PFA Resin M403
Everflon™ PFA M403 is a general-purpose fluoroplastic resin available in pellet form. Compared with other grades of Everflon™ PFA, its most unique features are a relatively low flow rate, greatly increased flex life, and enhanced resistance to environmental stress-cracking over Everflon™ PFA M403.

Everflon™ PFA M403 is used when traditional extrusion and molding processes are required for producing products with the superior properties of a fluoroplastic resin. Compared to other thermoplastics, the high melt strength and thermal stability of Everflon™ PFA M403 can be used to improve processing rates.

Compared with other fluoroplastics, creep resistance at high service temperatures provides a superior balance and level of end-use properties.

Everflon™ PFA M403 combines the processing ease of conventional thermoplastics with many properties similar to those of polytetrafluoroethylene. Properly processed products made from neat Everflon™ PFA M403 resin provide the superior properties characteristic of fluoroplastic resins: chemical inertness, exceptional dielectric properties, heat resistance, toughness and flexibility, low coefficient of friction, non-stick characteristics, negligible moisture absorption, low flammability, performance at temperature extremes, and excellent weather resistance

Application

Applications for Everflon™ PFA M403 include extruded tubing for use in handling aggressive fluids at high pressures; chemical liningsfor pipes used in the chemical processing industry; film for high flex service; and traditional extruded, injection-molded, or blowmolded articles requiring the unique performance of Everflon™ .

Processing

Everflon™ PFA can be processed by conventional melt extrusion, and by injection, compression, transfer, and blow molding
processes.

High melt strength and heat stability permit the use of relatively large die openings and high temperature draw-down techniques that increase production rates.

Reciprocating screw injection molding machines are preferred. Corrosion-resistant metals should be used in contact with molten fluoroplastic resin. Extruder barrel should be long, relative to diameter, to provide residence time for heating the resin to approximately 390 °C (730 °F). Packing & Delivery

Storage&Handing
The properties of Everflon PFA resins are not affected by storage time. Ambient storage conditions should be designed to avoid irborne contamination and water condensation on the resin when opening and emptying the packaging.
Package&Caution
EverflonTM PFA is packaged in 25kg, single layer, plastic bags. For convenient shipment, orders of 1,000-kg pallets are recommended.

Everflon PFA

Everflon's PFA
Everflon™ PFA (perfluoroalkoxy) fluoroplastics are available in pellet or powder form, and combine the processing ease of conventional thermoplastic resins with the high performance properties of Everflon™ PTFE.

Everflon™ PFA fluoroplastics are processed by conventional melt-extrusion techniques and by injection, compression, rotational, transfer and blow-molding processes. Everflon™ PFA fluoroplastics are ideal for wire coating and molding a wide variety of end use articles and components .

Products fabricated from genuine Everflon™ PFA are unaffected by most chemicals and feature superior electrical, low friction and mechanical properties and offer a wide service temperature range, up to 260°C (500°F).

Everflon™ PFA provides superior creep resistance at high temperatures, excellent low temperature toughness and exceptional flame resistance. Special grades of Everflon™ PFA (HP series) have been developed to meet the rigorous demands of the semiconductor industry for purity, low extractable levels and minimal outgassing.

Additional grades of Everflon™ PFA are available to support roto molding and other specialty applications.

About Everflon Fluoropolymers
Everflon® Fluoropolymer specializes in the production, development, and sales of high-performance fluoropolymer materials. It provides the most basic fluoropolymer raw materials for C&F Group's fluorochemicals. After years of research and development and production, it is currently PTFE, FEP,PFA,ETFE and PVDF materials, and can provide a variety of physical properties of dispersions, granules and powder to meet the needs of various processing applications such as spraying, extrusion, molding, injection molding.

Everflon® high performance fluoropolymers are widely used in various industries, such as electrical and electronic, chemical, mechanical, and medical, food, environmental, and other fields, to produce wire and cable, lining valves, pipes, fibers, coatings, and various products such as film.

Relying on the Group's Quality Assurance Department and Application Laboratory, Everflon® provides the highest quality and stable fluoroplastic raw materials to meet the high quality requirements of middle and
high-end customers and reduce the quality of raw materials caused by production and processing. Problems such as rising costs and inefficiency have established extensive and stable cooperative relations with main-stream manufacturers at home and abroad.
