                       FIRST GRADE ROCK WOOL FIBER/MINERAL FIBER FOR BRAKE PADS

 

Rock Wool Fibre is short fibre made of basalt and minerals through process of melting, spinning, resin coating and breaking. It is suitable for asbestos free friction materials, disc pad particularly.

 

 

 

 

 Product advantages include:  

1) low cost, help to substantially bring down the cost of asbestos free friction material. 
2) comparing with glass fibres and wollastonite, it reduces noise and judder of frriction material as        well  as improving the wear resistance

3) comparatively low melting point makes the resin coated rock wool softer at high temperature, which  reduces the wear of rotor as well as assisting adhesion at high temperature. so it improves the wear  resistance of friction materials at high temperature        

 

4) It is the important substitute of asbestos for friction materials.
