1). The main generator set adopts the supercharged, inter-cooled marine engines whose model is KTA19-G4(M)from CCEC company, rated speed 1800r/min,rated power 507kw. The diesel engine drives 500kw, 440V, 60Hz motors, generator capacity is set as 450kw.Generator drives the 315kw underwater pump motor, 55kw electric cutter head and 22kw hydraulic pump aggregate through frequency converter.
2). Cutter head transmission device The electric cutter head transmission device is equipped on the bridge, when the bridge down angle 50°,the dredging depth is 8m.The bridge structure is truss structure type, the bridge is hung by the bow crane through the steel wire rope, and driven by one set 60kN hydraulic winch. There are two sets 50KN sway hydraulic winch with rope speed 0~20m/min on the bridge. The wirerope of the sway winch rolled out of the sheaves which set in the front of the bridge and extend to two sides of the dredger, under the cooperation of two sets sway winches, with the spud carrier as the center, to make the dredger or so sideslip.
In the operation, the generator provides power through frequency converter (Brand: Schneider),controlling the motor speed according to the dredging condition to meet different soil conditions.
3).Pump The dredger equips with only one set underwater pump which is the new type pump refers to the IHC pump. Its advantages include: high efficient, wear-resisting, good cavitation performance. In order to improve the injection capacity and mud concentration, the underwater pump is driven by motor directly. The motor is B4J355LC6 water-cooled type from MarelliMotoriItaly which is set in sealed cabin of the cutter ladder.
