Quantum® IS3480 Series of Omnidirectional Laser Scan Engines

Honeywell's Quantum 3480 omnidirectional laser scan engine has a slim profile that integrates easily with a variety of OEM devices - including interactive kiosks, price lookup systems, ATMs, bill payment, reverse vending machines and controlled access. The imager's high scanning rate, effective scan pattern and proven reliability make it an ideal solution for self-service applications where most users are untrained. The Quantum 3480 scanner is capable of reading GS1 barcodes and all standard 1D barcodes.

Automatic scanning operation: Simply present a bar code and the unit scans in a single pass

Programmable depth of field: Customize the scan field for small POS areas eliminating inadvertent scans

Single-line mode: Facilitates scanning of items with multiple bar codes, including menus

Sweet spot mode: Provides the user feedback on how well the unit is scanning a bar code in the scan zone

Flash ROM: Using the MetroSet2® utility, the scanner’s firmware can be upgraded using a personal computer
