Product Description
We offer assembled tanks that are made from hot pressed moulded panels to British and European Standards. Although there is no gel coat, the isophthalic resin rich inner surface is ideal for storing wholesome water. Tanks constructed from panels can be built in spaces with restricted access.
GRP Panels
Panel sizes currently offered are:
- 1 metre square
- 1 metre by 1/2 metre
- 1/2 metre by 1/2 metre
All sizes are available either plain or 40mm -120mm Insualted.
The water quality can meet the standard requirement of GB5749 Sanitary Standard for drinking.
The wide range of panels consist of 2mx1m, 1mx1m, 1mx0.5m and 0.5x0.5m sizes, in varying configurations for use in side, bottom and top, which enables us to assemble.
Sealant
All joints&bolts are sealed with Synthetic Rubber materials.
Internal&External Reinforcements
For all tanks over one meter high-extra reinforcements are required. GRP water storage tankI nternal steel tie rods are SUS304 or SUS316 and External steel sections are Hot Dipped Galvanised as per standard.
Physical Properties
Will not corrode, Long Life,Normal fittings can be used, Light weight and extremely strong.
Fixings & Fastenings
All nuts/bolts and washers in contact with the water are of stainless steel . Non-immersed nuts, bolts and washers are either zinc plated , passivated or galvanised
Supports For Panels
The panels shall be supported externally or internally by an adequate support system Elements of external supports shall be hot dip galvanized. Interior supports shall be chemically resistant to the quality of stored water.
Ladders
A GRP sectional tank of 1.5m depth or more shall be provided with an internal ladder made up of terials same with the supports. The external ladders shall be galvanized mild steel or equivalent.
Manways & Inspection Hatches
Manways are bolted & vented which are in a standard size of: 600 x 600mm. They can be alternatively supplied hinged as a Deluxe Manway Inspection hatches 450 x 450mm are supplied standard with tank(s) holding over 1000 litres.
Maintenance Dividers
On request new sectional storage tank can have an internal maintenance divider fitted within the tank, allowing maintenance works to be carried out without disturbing the system.
Connections
A comprehensive range of tank connections are available fot site fitting. Holes for connections may be cut with onventional tools.
Overflow Screens
Each tank is supplied with a screen overflow having a micro mesh filter.
Capacity and Selection of Optimum Size Tanks
GRP sectional Tanks can be assembled to various capacities From 1000 liters to 1 million liters by selecting the desired length and Width from 1m to 20m, and height of tank from 1m to 4m in increments of 0.5m, as rectangular or square tanks or to any special size.
