Product Description
Trace water is an important issue in the production and preparation of Polyurethane (PU) products. Trace water in polyols react with isocyanate to form carbon dioxide, resulting in foaming. At the same time, a large amount of heat is released, resulting in a shorter service life.
Chemxin activated molecular sieve powder is used to produce paints, varnishes, waterproofing and coatings based on polyurethane, polyurea, ceramics, epoxy, acrylic and PVA.
Activated Molecular Sieve Powder is dehydrated synthetic powder molecular sieve. With the charater of high dispersibility and rapid adsorbability, it is used in some special adsorbability, it is used in some special adsorptive circumstances, such as being formless desiccant, being adsorbent mixed with other materials etc.
The powder is also available as pastes (50% dispersion in castor oil). Chemxin zeolite powders and pastes are added to solvent-free one-pack and two-pack polyurethane systems, primarily to remove water. Applications include coatings, adhesives, sealants, casting resins, sports floors and elastomers.
