It is imperative to understand all technical requirements and operating conditions in which the wire drawing tools need to function under.  Here are the most important factors in a technical questionnaire:

-          The material which is in contact with the surface (copper, steel, gold, aluminum … etc)
-          The function of the part (conducting, drawing, guiding … )
-          The pressure exercised on the part
-          The ambience ( wet or dry ) and if wet, the substance of the liquid
-          The speed of the wire on the part

 

For a wire producer, in order to come up with the desired high quality wire or cable, there are plenty of parameters that should be taken into consideration.
