ColdKing ice cream truck body is made of all-closed sandwich structure panels, which is made by special technology to vacuum form complete panels. We use free-Freon molding polyurethane foam as inner insulation materials. The internal and external coverings are integral FRP sheets (fiberglass reinforced polyester), therefore, homogeneous construction (without any metallic reinforcements).

ColdKing Kooltube Eutectic System

is a holdover or latent heat storage system. It is one of the simplest refrigeration systems and has been around in its basic configuration for many years. Simply, it can be compared to a block of ice in a glass of water or to the freezer pack, which you freeze in your fridge at home and put into a cooler box to keep your drinks cold.The eutectic beams perform the same function as the block of ice or freezer pack while the condenser replaces your domestic fridge. The system is plugged into an electrical supply until the tubes are properly frozen, unplugged and then the vehicle used for its delivery round.

The advantages of KOOLTUBE EUTECTIC refrigeration systems as opposed to other EUTECTIC PLATE refrigeration system are as following:

Lighter:
\t
For same refrigeration capacity, KOOLTUBE EUTECTIC refrigeration system is15% lighter than EUTECTIC PLATES refrigeration system. It is helpful to reduce curb weight and to raise loading capacity.

Better Stability:
\t
Normally, there are need 3-8 pieces EUTECTIC PLATES for usual dimension truck body, but for Kooltube EUTECTIC system is just need 8 -12 pieces tubes inside. In case of that one of them damaged or shut down,that is means Kooltube system just lost 1/8 or 1/12, but for EUTECTIC PLATES is 1/3 or 1/8. It will harm goods' quality badly.

Easy installation:

Due to rectangular tube structure and lighter weight (10.5kg/M), Kooltube is easier installation than EUTECTIC PLATES. It is enough to install whole kooltube system by two skilled workers. But, for eutectic plates system, the 80kg of each plate will occupy 3-4 workers to install it. And the design of each one or two eutectic plates with one expansion valve is challenge for engineer to make a symmetrical refrigeration effect. However, Kooltube eutectic just has one expansion valve for whole system. It is easy to adjust whole system at good condition.

Better Efficient:

Scientifically, cold Air exchange downwards. As eutectic plates is flat structure. That is means it has almost 50% performance is useless because one surface of eutectic Plate is face to roof panel.It just have 50% surface to working for body space, so they need install more eutectic plate inside body to remedy its shortage. But Kooltube eutectic system is efficient structure, it just have about 20% surface is face to roof panel; almost 80% surface is available to work.

Safety & Long Life:

Kooltube's eutectic solution is safe, non-toxic and non-corrosive for foods. eutectic plate’s cooling brine mixture solution is corrosive and skin irritation. And, for long time working, once rusting on iron shell, its corrosive mixture solution will erode and perforate eutectic plate easily. If so, when its mixture solution falls onto skin or foods, it is terribly.
