Product Description

MCL-SMT-100V is a portable automatic chemistry analyzer which is applied to clinical biochemistry analysis with lithium heparin anticoagulant whole blood, serum and plasma. And MCL-SMT-100V covers various applications from emergency departments to clinical labs, from ICU to surgery centers, from anesthesia department to respiratory care, from home to ambulance.

In addition, the MCL-SMT-100V system consists of a 5-kg portable analyzer and pre-configured reagent, or “rotor”, disks that enable veterinarians to obtain a clear, comprehensive picture of a patient’s condition, and veterinarians needn’t add reagents by themselves.

Analyzer Uses

3 Steps operation of the dry chemistry analyzers:

 

Step 1: Add Sample

Simply collect 0.1cc of whole blood, serum or plasma, and transfer it to the self-contained reagent disc. The single use, disposable disc contains all the reagents and diluent necessary to perform a complete fixed multi-test panel.

 

Step 2: Insert Disc

Follow the touch screen commands. Place the disc into the analyzer drawer, enter requested information and the biochemistry analyzer does the rest. In approximately 12 minutes, results are ready.

 

Step 3: Read Results

Complete panel results including patient demographics, chemistry concentrations, reference ranges, sample integrity indices and iQC are available on the full color display, printed on a self-adhesive print out, transmitted to an external printer, The automatic biochemistry analyzer will store on-board up to 100000 patients and quality control results.

Q: What are the power requirements to operate SMT 100 analyzer?

A: The analyzer requires 100-240 volts AC, 50-60 Hz.

 

Q: What is the shelf life of the reagent discs?

A: The reagent discs can be stored for up to 12 months at 2-8°C.

 

Q: Can the expired reagent discs be used?

A: No, the result of the test will be unreliable.

 

Q: How long can the reagent disc be used after removing from the foil pouch?

A: After opening the pouch, the disc should be used within 20 minutes. Do not place the disc back into the refrigerator for later use.

 

Q: Can reagent discs be used again?

A: No, it can only be used once. It is a single-use disposable reagent disc. One disc one sample.

 

Q: What types of samples can be used with the SMT 100 analyzer?

A: The sample can be whole blood, plasma or serum.

 

Q: What is the sample volume required for a test?

A: 100ul is required to run a test. In case of rechecking, it is recommended that collecting blood sample is not less than 250ul.

 

Q: Before testing, does the reagent disc need to take out from refrigerator to guarantee the test temperature?

A: Yes, to avoid congealing and guarantee test temperature, before unpack and test, reagent disc

have to be placed 20 minutes after taking our from refrigerator or low temperature storage tank.

 

Q: In the process of sample and control test, when clicking STOP button, can the test disc be used as a new disc again?

A: The stopped test disc can’t be used again. If it is not must situation, please don’t stop it.

 

Q. Do the users need to add reagent?

A: No, the reagent is already packed well in each of the disc hole before packing foil pouch.

 

Q: How to maintain the instrument?

A: Keep the instruments shell and drawer clean. Compared to the traditional analyzer, our instrument has less maintenance.
