BMH series of oil drain nitrogen filling fire-extinguishing device for transformer is used for oil-immersed transformer and other oil-filled electric equipments. The product has ability of anti-explosion, fire protection , fire extinguishing and fire prevention, which compensates the shortage of traditional water spray fire extinguish system.
· The product has a compact structure, so it is of low engineering cost, easy to install and maintenance. Without using water or foam as extinguishing media, it is a kind of product has no pollution and frozen which exempts water supply and drainage design.
· The products can’t be used for fire extinguishing outside of oil tank and inside of tap-changer.
· The products has been approved by national correlation department, and certain quantity of the products are being used for transformer fire protection in China.
· Oil drain: When there is fault in transformer, the methane gas relay will act caused by rapidly increased oil pressure in oil tank, with temperature rising , the fire detector signals to act, the drain valve in fire-extinguishing cabinet is opened automatically to discharge high temperature oil in top of transformer, oil pressure in oil tank is fallen, at the same time the cut-off valve is closed automatically to cut off oil from conservator to transformer body.
· Nitrogen filling: After a few seconds time delay, nitrogen is injected into transformer body from bottom through pressure relief and gas pipeline. Nitrogen shall agitate mixed fluid to make heat-exchange between bottom and top of oil tank, oil surface temperature shall be fallen and dilute with oxygen to extinguish fire. When nitrogen charging time is up to set value, transformer will be cooled to avoid fire again.
