First, place the bowl on your palm of either hand. Do not touch the side of the bowl or hold the bowl with the fingers.
Give a ding to the bowl with the striker, it produces a sound. Now, slowly rub the striker around the bowl with an uniform speed. Gently, increase the speed as the bowl begins to vibrate. You can increase or decrease the tone as per your need.
Or you can even produce the sound and vibration just by hitting the bowl.
