AIGER Shallow Medium Sand Filter 

 

 

AIGER Shallow medium sand filter which uses the quartz sand as medium is a high efficiency filter, which includes filter tank, media filling cover, service cover, filtration nozzles, media layer, internal partition with water collector and water outlet. 

 

Function: It can effectively remove the suspended substance, microorganisms, and other fine particles in water. Ultimately achieve to reduce water turbidity, purify water quality.
Applications: Water supply systems, Irrigation systems, Cooling Water, Waste Water Treatment, Industrial Pre-Filtration, etc.
Industries: manufacturing, mining, water and waste water treatment plant, turf and agriculture, etc.

Working principle:

 

Water enters the filter via the inlet and spreads evenly onto the media.
Solids and organic materials are trapped within the media.The clean water passes through the media and flows out via the nozzles. 
The back flushing process is done by shutting the inlet of the filter and allowing the water to enter from the bottom, lifting the media and releasing the solids that exit the filter through the back flush manifold.
This process can be controlled automatically.
