Anion resin for Decolorization of Sugar Solutions equal to Purolite A860

 

SEPLITE LXA 958 is a highly cross-linked resin in the form of White-cream spheres. It was designed particularly for removing color from highly colored liquid sugar solution. It is equivalent to Amberlite FPA98Cl resin. 

 

Ion exchange method of decolorization has been proved to be more superior than activated carbon.

 

With the Matrix of acrylic, SEPLITE® LXA 958 provides wonderful adsorption and desorption performance for large organic molecules due to its pore structure..

About cane sugar decoloration with Ion Exchange Resins

 

There are lots of colored substance during processing of cane sugar. Some like Flavonoids impurities, melanin,

 chlorophyll are naturally existed, other colored substance come from the cane sugar processing. 

 

Activated carbon is usually used for cane sugar decoloration as the traditional method, and with the technology 

development, new trend of adopting ion exchange resins for cane sugar processing are getting increasing attention
