1. Description of Rtv2 silicone rubber for veneer stone mold making resin casting liquid silicone 

 XB-730# is one of the best seller in Sibetter Silicone.
The XB-730# is a kind of liquid RTV tin cure mold making silicone rubber with two parts, part A is the silicone rubber base, part B is the condensation curing agent. XB-730# is in the harness of 30 shore A, then the application of XB-730 would be used to make mould of the products in medium size such as 40~50cm with simple patters, such as the concrete/cement/stone products, plaster line/conics, concrete stamping, garden statues, etc.
Its mixing ratio is 100:3, and generally 3% free catalyst would be offered. But in the same mixing ratio, the higher the temperature is, the faster the silicone rubber would be cured. So, please add the catalyst accordingly.

Use Instruction:

rtv2 silicone rubber making mold for plaster columns is a kind of flowing liquid, and it consists of two component, part a is a flow-able liquid silicone rubber, part B is the curing agent.

1. Firstly, after your previous work of dealing with the original model, take some liquid silicone rubber, add 2%~3% cuing agent of the amount of silicon and mix themevenly.
2. Then after vacuum-pumping the mixture, you can pour it into the mold frame.
3. The silicone mold will cured in 2~3 hours.

Note: the time for vacuum-pumping should be less than 3-5mins, otherwise, once the silicone rubber has cross-link reaction during vacuum. it will not be operated.
 

5.Why the silicone mould turns to be sticky
The main reason for this problem is that we do not handle the products or original molds well.
We whould deal with the mother mould carefully before molding. Such as for the products with a complicated patterns or unsmoothed surface, we whould polish and clearn the products, then spray the release agent. Normally, the release agnet can be Vaseline, detergent, liquid wax etc. In practial process, you can brush different release agent according to different material.
The second reason is that the operator pour the silicone into the mold when the mixture is not mixed evernly, so the finished silicone mold will not cured and dried entirely.
