 How does a rotary evaporator Rotovap working ?

  

 The round bottom evaporation flask touchs the water or oil of heating bath with motor running , the heating water oil bath will transfer heat energy into evaporation flask. The lower boiling point solvent of mixture will be evaporated and raised vapor meet cooling condenser and come back into collection flask . 

 

With the help of vacuum pump and recirculating chiller, rotary evaporator will be worked well within short time to accomplish distillation ,extraction, crystallation and separation .
