1.Description for SMD power inductor mold

SMD power inductors molds, or CD inductors, molding chokes, there are three layers for a whole power inductor molding, the upper molding as a cover plate, middle molding and the lower molding as baseboard. We custom-design the precision inductors molds and precision die-castings and hardware spare parts of inductors equipment.

 

By repeated practices,we adopt die steel and tungsten carbide as material for power inductor molds,there are many models such as one molding six pieces,one molding twelve pieces and so on,tungsten carbide is Ceratizit grade,it is suit to making power inductor mould(SMD power inductor has high pressure and strong powder erosion characteristics).

 

Steel bushing use SKD11 material with heat treatment,then improving surface finish.

 

The inner chamber of the mold uses wire EDM cutting, which can ensure the accuracy of the mold and the mold finish.After the wire cutting,ultrasonic polishing can achieve mirror effect, so that the product effectively reduce the friction between the mold and powder in the molding process, ,and also mproving the mold wear resistance and the product finish.
