Cleaning the Cartridge 

 

If the water outflow is little, the filter cartridge may be clogged. 
This is an indication that the filter needs to be cleaned. 
To remove the filter cartridge follow  the instructions to disassemble the  product, wash the surface of the filter with clean water, slightly rub the filter  with sand paper (every sand paper  can be used 5-10 times).Ceramic surface will now be  exposed. Now, reassemble the product.

1.Can I filter salt water?
Out Portable outdoor water filter 
is intended for fresh water sources only. DO NOT USE IN SALT WATER.
2.How often should I replace the filters?
Under normal conditions the outdoor water 
filter) can filter up to 500 gallons before filters need to be replaced.
If the water to be filtered is heavily contaminated or is full of silt,
the filters may need to be removed, cleaned and/or replaced earlier..
3.How can I get replacement filters?
Replacement filters and parts are easily available on alibaba send me inquiry.

4.For the First Time Use, please be advised not to drink the first 0.5 liter 
pumped out. Water filtered after this is drinkable. This only applies for the 
first time usage.
